CASE STUDY TEMPLATE
The Case Study is mandatory for all ARAW and ARAW MEDIA entries. As this constitutes the bulk upon which your entry is judged, it is your entry's most vital part. So be sure to answer it thoroughly, paying particular attention to the results section.
If you intend to enter it in specific Excellence Categories only, you must still accomplish all sections of the case study.
The template is supplied on the website. Once downloaded, you may delete the instructions and accompanying guide. When completing your case study be sure to use the default font and size (Helvetica, 10 pt.). Do not exceed the word count stipulated. Include a computer-generated word count at the bottom. Pictures, graphs and charts may be imbedded into the document to strengthen your case, but make sure the completed file DOES NOT exceed 10MB.
Once satisfied with your case study, have it signed by your client before you upload it.

PRESENTATION BOARD
The Presentation Board is mandatory for entries in the following categories: Outdoor, Ambient and POP (OAP), Direct (DR), Digital (DG), Design (D), Promo & Activations (PA), Campaign (C), Integrated (I) and Media (M).
These should include a brief summary of your entry in a problem, solution, results or challenge, idea, outcome format.
For entries in the Outdoor, Ambient and POP (OAP) Category, your presentation board MUST include photos of your ad in situ.
There must be no reference to the agency behind the ad or any agency branding on the presentation board.
Be sure to explain any cultural nuances and supply English translations where necessary.
All presentation boards must be mounted on 60 X 40 cm illustration boards. Anything larger will NOT be accepted.

AUDIO VISUAL PRESENTATIONS
The Audio-Visual Presentation is Mandatory for the following categories: Promo & Activations (PA), and Integrated (I).
However, you may choose to do an AVP where you feel it may help your cause. An example is in the Outdoor, Ambient and POP (OAP) Category. Installations that have moving parts or involve a passage of time can be better appreciated as a video. The same is true with complicated digital entries. But before you get carried away, ask yourself first if it is truly necessary.
Audio-visual presentations MUST NOT exceed 3 mins.
Include English subtitles when necessary and make sure it is readable.
ASC CLEARANCE & CERTIFICATE OF AIRING
This is mandatory for all entries with TV and radio components. Simply scan and upload as a jpeg file.
RADIO SCRIPTS
This is mandatory for all entries with radio components. Submit online in the field supplied. If your entry is in Filipino, be sure to supply an English translation.TEAR SHEETS
This is mandatory for all entries with print components. No need to mount. Simply compile and submit in an envelope clearly marked "tear sheets" along with the entry number/s.
If entered in more than one category, you must supply additional tear sheets.
STORYBOARDS
This is mandatory for all entries in the Araw Craft Categories for film (C1-7 and C14a).
The storyboard must be the original agency version. Remove any branding. Upload as jpeg images in letter size.
This year, there will be 2 rounds of judging.
The first round will be held online. Here, the judges will shortlist the entries with a simple IN/OUT vote. The second round will be to determine metal winners. Here, judges are asked to score each entry according to the criteria for the respective competition.
In the Araw and Araw Media Competition, juries will be composed of clients, research practitioners, media specialists and creative directors. The Araw Craft Jury will be composed of directors, freelance producers, audio specialists and photographers.
Once entries have been completed, the system will generate the total amount due. You can pay instantly online via Credit Card. Please note that if you plan to take advantage of the Early Bird fees, payment must be processed before the deadline. If not, the system will automatically generate an adjusted fee corresponding to the standard rates.
You also have the option to pay by check. Checks must be submitted along with your material requirements. Again, if you plan to take advantage of the Early Bird be sure to submit your checks before the deadline. Checks must be issued to: ADVERTISING BOARD OF THE PHILIPPINES. Send to:
The 22nd Philippine Advertising Congress Secretariat Suite 7A, Dao 1 Bldg. Salcedo Street, Legaspi Village Makati City
GOOD LUCK!
